1st in my age division
Won some running swag, along with a gift certificate to a free meal at Fazoli's and some other free coupons.
Improvements? Next time, I won't drink 2 large cups of coffee prior to the race. I could have done better, but I had to slow up to refrain from hurling.. I didn't want my first 5k memory to be me puking as I ran. Live and learn! :)
Oh yeah, the picture - YES i have been pumping iron, thanks for noticing. lol. Tanning is next on my agenda.. :)

6 miler around Washington DC
I went to Washington DC for work this week. Just for an evening, and back to Monroe the next day. While I was there, I had some time in the wee hours of the morning to squeeze in a 6 mile run. Click here to see my route. Click on the photo above to see the pictures from my run.

been a long time since i blog and rolled..
Wow! it's been forever since I've posted anything. According to my webstats I get weekly, like 40 people are checking this a day. WTH is all I have to say. I figured I had better post something to keep the masses satisfied.. although, I'd imagine its one or two stalkers, stalking it up. May as well give the stalkers something to read.. So, here's some links to keep you busy.
Longest commute: 7 hour round trip. Man he must get paid a TON!!
Fantasy dog show. Kind of like fantasy football, or hockey, but its a dog show. Pick your dog, train it and compete. What'll they think of next.
Hours, well, minutes of fun. Make your own newspaper clipping! Fun for a while.
Want to know how to rip a DVD to a smaller AVI or MPG file? Well here ya go.
The six minute project. Interesting slide show.. I still don't get the concept.
TV Shows to watch online. - I'm not sure how this is legit, but what the heck, who cares.. just enjoy while you can!
Oh yeah, above is my newest toy. The Garmin Forerunner 201. I've been dreaming about it for months.. I finally worked up the courage and read 800 reviews enough to finally get one. It sounds like its not quite up to par yet, but works fairly well. I'm sure I'll ramble about it later on.. but I'm running almost 40 miles a week these days.. and desperately need to find some new routes.. this thing tracks mileage, speed and has a GPS in it to tell you where you've been.
Anyhow, I have no excuses for the lack of blogging.. I just don't sit in front of the computer like I used to when there was mounds of snow outside, or it was bitter cold. What can i say.. YAY summer!! :)
