Ended up having an awesome weekend. Saw 28 weeks later, hung out in Ann Arbor, went to Arbor Brewing and had fish taco's.. then went to the Mud Hens game in Toledo, and scored three free tickets while we were standing in line to buy tickets. Monday we chilled in the yard all day playing frisbee and smoking ribs. Yay summer!

So long Memorial Day camping..

Well, for this year. It was the high/damaging winds, thunderstorms and hail that made us decide against it. We camp in the rain now, and have a ton of things we can do down there in town.. but decided for the pop-up campers sake, we should throw in the towel this year. Our next trip down will be in June for the Crawfish boil at Dark Horse Brewing Co. mmm. crawfish. :)

Good tune..

We had the new photography interns over Friday night for a campfire. One of them picked up a guitar and strummed this tune.. both Jen and I's ears perked up. The next day, Jen beat me to it, sitting there learning the chords for the song. Good stuff. There's some history behind this song too.. apparently, Bob Dylan wrote the chorus for a movie and it was never used, so this band asked Bob if they could complete the song.. he agreed, and the rest is history!

Ahhh camping.

Went camping this past weekend. I shoveled and spread 1 ton of stones over my site, and built a deck. I say "built a deck" like I'm a deck builder or something, but really, it was the first thing I think I've ever built, and it turned out pretty good. Thanks to an old guy named Jerry too, who pedaled up on his bike and jumped right in to help me. Check out the pictures, and listen to jen and I ramble below. :)
