We had another birthday gift come in a couple days after Madalyn's party. She eye'd it up the whole ride home from daycare and continued to ask about it. I needed a reason to try out my new iPad iMovie app and have been meaning to throw together a "how to" for brewing beer, so here's a video. It's quick, and just still shots and me talking but it works.  The app is really easy to use, I can see myself doing more with it in the future, especially with my iPhone.

A lady I work with showed me this recipe the other day. Great recipe. I've made this recipe so many times, and everytime it comes out awesome.  I think the trick is, is to make it and let it sit over night.  When you're ready to eat, make the bread.  Watch them close under the broiler, they will burn fast!  You can also use regular onions, you don't necessarily need to use shallots.   Enjoy! Dexter-Ann Arbor 1/2 Marathon. 1:45:45. 636th out of 2500 at an 8:04 avg. pace. I felt ok, for not doing any hardcore training for this race. I definitely will advocate NO beer drinking a week before a race.. That definitely helped me out. :) I might do this one again though, it was fun and a really nice scenic run. 10k is done. went alright.. finished running a 7:55-ish pace. haven't got final time yet.. but damn am i sweating!(edited) - My sister and I both ran this. She had a great run coming in 211th out of 526 in her age group. Her time was 60:32 with an avg. pace of 9:03. I managed to finish in 48:54 coming in 80th out of 403 with an avg. pace of 7:53. Lately I've become quite good at the bean bag toss game known as Cornhole. If you haven't played it (which is pretty much like saying you don't participate in Easter) you're missing out. I'd have to say this is the first Will Ferrell movie I've seen in theaters. I won tickets to a pre-screening of the movie "Step Brothers" and got to see the movie in it's entirety last night.
