A tip for Verizon users out there


My phone has been acting up lately. I've been getting text messages a day after people sent them. I called and had probably the best conversation ever with a customer service representative. She gave me the following tip:

Since I hadn't updated my phone in so long, she had me do the following:

*228 - then choose option 1. This reprograms the phone.

She then went on to explain, you should run an update on your phone every single month since Verizon is constantly updating towers all over the country on a daily basis.

*228 - then choose option 2. This updates the service with area towers.

I'm setting a calendar reminder once a month to run the update.
