Well folks. Here's Evan. My all time favorite singer songwriter.
Evan Dando appeared at the Blind Pig on Thursday, July 28, 2005. He played a fairly quick set (45 mins), and didn't speak (barely) the entire time. The only thing that got him talking was when he broke his low E string, and replaced it with an A string.. (it still sounded awesome). He played all his hits and more - even played an MC-5 song.
I'm going to blog more on this later.. it's 230am, and wow am I tired.. so, here you go for now. Check out the flickr site for more pictures. Jen and I hit up some Japanese joint before hand, then hung out at the well known Leopold Bros. brewery before the Blind Pig. GREAT evening.. too bad it's a school night... ugh.
